New Year, New Start

One-Day Seminar

In January our Centre helped organize and run a one-day seminar, along with other Family Centres from Ireland and England. The theme of the seminar was an inspirational opportunity to start the New Year off with the right attitude for change and success.

The programme included:

• A multi-media presentation of the work in the UK and Ireland, as well as the Family International’s worldwide projects.


• A keynote talk on new beginnings; how to make attainable goals and tips on how to keep them!
  
• After a chance for everyone to think about their resolutions for the new year, everyone recorded these on paper and prayed for the strength and commitment to see them through.


• A three day spiritual retreat coming later this year was announced.
  

It was an inspiring time for all who attended. The children did arts and crafts projects and were entertained in a separate room, so their parents could put their full attention into the seminar. There is a possibility of more one day seminars in the future, so if you are interested please let us know!
